becoming

A companion for the one life you're living.

what becoming is

A companion for the apprenticeship of everyday life with Jesus.

Not a productivity app. Not a CRM. Not a habit tracker. Not a devotional. Not a rule-of-life builder. An apprenticeship companion.

The frame comes from an old, living conversation:

Being with Jesus. Becoming like Jesus. Doing what Jesus would do.

That three-movement sequence is the spine of the product. It shapes the daily surface. It orders every invitation. It gives becoming its shape and its pace.

the spine

Three movements, one apprenticeship.

first
Being with Jesus
Presence. Scripture. Breath. Silence. The apprentice stays close to the Master.
second
Becoming like Jesus
Character. Transformation. The slow work. The apprentice is shaped by the Master, across every dimension of the life they are being formed into.
third
Doing what Jesus would do if he were me
Investing in the people he has put in front of me. Stewarding the work he has given me. Building for the Kingdom in this life, in this city, in this season.
what becoming stands for

A few quiet commitments.

Every decision about becoming is tested against a handful of convictions that do not move.

who this is for

A small circle, for now.

becoming is being built for the season a few of us are actually living. A new role. A move. Caregiving for a parent. The ordinary work of being a husband and father and friend.

A small circle of trusted peers next. Followers of Jesus who are done with the hurried, performing world and want to live differently. Pastors, executives, founders, elders. Twenty-somethings and seventy-somethings. People who have read Willard and Peterson and Rohr, and people who have never heard those names but feel the same pull. What they share is not an age or a résumé. It is a hunger for a center that is not anxious.

Eventually, perhaps, a broader audience. Slowly, by invitation, without losing the center.

Not for anyone looking for a better contact manager, a habit tracker, or a productivity system. Those tools exist and do their work well. becoming is a different kind of thing.
